We are excited to announce that we have won a new implementation account with our partner UKBIT. Our latest client is the Royal Opera House Muscat, which is a leading arts and culture organisation located in the Sultanate of Oman. The Opera House's vision is to enrich lives through diverse artistic, cultural, and educational programs and serve as a centre of excellence in global cultural engagement.
The scope of the project includes the conversion and implementation of ECC to S/4HANA, interfacing with other customer systems, project management, testing, and training for customer users, S/4 HANA on-premises infrastructure setup and migration from the current regional data centre, and application management services (AMS) of S/4HANA.
The conversion will involve migrating the SAP ERP Landscape (DEV, QAS, PRD) from ERP 6.0 EHP 7 (ABAP) on Win 2012 R2 and MSSQL 2012 R2 to S/4HANA 2022 (ABAP) on Linux and HANA 2.0 Database on Linux along with Activation of Embedded Fiori. The project also includes deployment of existing standard mandatory Fiori apps, code remediation of all Z objects which are impacted by HANA Upgrade/Migration activity, SPDD/SPAU Corrections of all objects impacted by Upgrade/Migration activity, fixing any technical/functional issues arising due to the Upgrade/Migration activity, and ensuring that all the configured existing business processes work as before.
After the conversion, the project involves functional testing (unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing), training on delta changes from S/4HANA, and upgrading and maintaining DMS. It is recommended to use an external storage solution for DMS as attachments/documents will be saved in the SAP HANA database, increasing its volume and all associated costs (memory, etc.).
We look forward to working with the Royal Opera House Muscat and delivering a successful project.
